Last Friday, I had a phone call from a company that I made a 'cold call' visit to earlier in the week.  I very dutifully made a 'memo of the phone call' to record some of their operations data that came out of the call.  When I went to call him today to set up a visit for later this week, I found that the file was lost.  I am sure that I will manage but could I be more effective by reviewing those 'lost' notes? - D. Massachusetts			The job campaign has been tedious for me.  I can't get in touch with people I need to, mainly because I don't know where all my information is.  I used to use pencil and paper or a notebook.  I couldn't update information fast enough, and in many cases, I had partial information with respect to my potential employers.  Each time I picked up my notebook, I had to go down my list of contacts and select the ones that were most important or those I had to target today.  I spent more time trying to figure out what to do rather than spend that time in making the phone calls or sending out my emails! - J.
